Pangolins are delightful critters that are almost extinct. In order to raise awareness and cause people to care about this guy, they needed to become part of everyday life. So I designed Facebook Stickers. I made these based on a project I did where we took emotions and applied it to an animal. I used this as an opportunity to practice digital painting.
Nurti Life Redesign
For this project I took the dog food brand I used and redesigned their bag and logo.
I looked for inspiration from what they already had, using their preexisting colors and nature influence. Instead of using a hold tree growing out of letters in the logo, I took the leaf of an oak tree, which symbolized strength, wisdom and endurance, to give their logo a strong, trusted, natural feel.
Chewing Tobacco PSA
The ad that I choose had to deal with Chewing Tobacco. Instead of doing the scare tactic I wanted make people pause and think about how they looked and the impression that it made on others. I made these with water color and Photoshop
Children's Cookbook Sample
I have always wanted to illustrate children’s books. For one of my projects I decided to make a sample book. I illustrated all the images using digital painting.
Pets of Portage Logo Redesign
In this project I redesigned the local pet shop logo. I used simple fun shapes to reflect the vibe of their store.
This is a poster I illustrated and designed for The Moth's Creepy. I chose elements that are unsettling on their own, but I took artistic liberties to make them less so.
Freeland Inc. Brochure
Freeland Industries is a local business that has been around for 100 years. I used a orange base to make them feel warm and local with blue to make it feel old and strong.
The Swanky Spoon is a made up business that specializes in small batch artisan alcoholic ice cream. I used gold and purple as the primary colors to give it an air of rich elegance.
Feather weather is a weather app i designed for birders. I used bright calm colors and soft lines to make this app feel simple, calm, fun, and informitive.
